Thruway bus service connects with the Carolinian (Train 80) and Palmetto (Trains 89 and 90) at the Wilson Amtrak Station for connections to Greenville, New Bern, Havelock, Morehead City, Swansboro, Goldsboro, Kinston, Jacksonville and Wilmington.
Thruway buses are full-size, modern intercity coaches with comfortable reclining seats, abundant legroom and an onboard restroom and Wi-Fi.
NC By Train Connector
(High Point Station to Winston-Salem)
The
NC By Train Connector – Route 3, is a bus provided by Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation that links downtown Winston-Salem to NC By Train service at the High Point station.
The bus meets Piedmont and Carolinian trains daily.
