Few things are more nostalgic than watching trains during the holiday season, so why not make some new memories?
On weekends in December (10 a.m.-5 p.m.), the North Raleigh Model Railroad Club has their model railroad on display in Raleigh Union Station (510 W. Martin St.) for people of all ages to enjoy.
- Nov. 30-Dec. 1
- Dec. 7-8
- Dec. 14-15
- Dec. 21-22
- Dec. 28-29
The train set is located on the second level of the station. The event is free and open to the public, and parking is available on the street or at The Dillon which is across from the station (223 South West St.).
Make a trip of it by stopping by the observation deck (view Piedmont or Carolinian train arrival/departure times) while you’re at the station to see trains in action!
